I just happen to run by this when i was looking at a air intake kit. Could I use this ?.

Looks pretty cool, but it'll suck in twice the amount of hot air as the regular style

did you read the fine print where it said filters not included, seems pricey, but its more for show than anything.


I would be worried about clearance

I think it will fit.......maybe with a few mods? not sure the lower clearance though (how much it hangs down) you have a 5-1/8 throttle body.....you do have 3-1/2" room from "carb"....or tb in this case,to your hood,but you would really need to test fit it with a couple of air cleaner spacers handy to adjust the height??
But ya, this is the complete opposite of a CAI
