Default plenum plate dimensions

im thinking of making my own plate but am unsure of the dimensions, if anyone has an old steel plenum plate lying aroun could you measure it out as a rectangle so i know what size plate to buy,

The stock plate is offset, I have a couple lying around if you want a picture.

yes i would like to know what size plate i need to buy. i only have 8 inch wide at home, so if i need 10 wide i have to buy it.
also, would 1/8 inch work?

I'd use 1/4" if making it out of aluminum.

If you pick up the gasket, you can use that to cut the plate out, and I also second using a 1/4 piece of aluminum, it will keep the plate from warping
