already have new mopar performance springs in my wishlist on summit, along with new locks and retainers. also considering going with eq iron heads from odessa on ebay. already going to be emailing hemifever for a custom tune. my goal total price is under 1500 for everything. motor is only 150, but its 5 hours away, up in maine, by the canadian bordah.

 

Yes I know it kinda on the small side but with the 1.7s it will make and improvement plus it was FREE so i couldnt pass it up.

 

you cant run 1.7's with a cam on a 5.2, not enough valve to piston clearance. putting those 1.7's on with that cam, and you will kiss your valves goodbye, possibly your pistons too. thats why im planning a 360 swap in my truck so i can run a cam, and eventually a set of 1.7's too.

ive done plenty of research, look up a few of my threads regarding cam usage, its all in there.

 

My pistons are butterfly cut for clearance the owner b4 me i guess had a larger cam in it

 

IM NOT SURE I LIKE THIS CAM WHAT IS THE BEST LITTLE CAM IN YOUR OPINION.i HAVE ANOTHER 2000 5.2 JUST WANT SOME PICK UP DONT KNOW IF I WANT TO PUT A CAM IN IT OR JUST SLAP 1.7RR ON IT AND CALL IT GOOD
