Been working on the truck all day. 1998 QC 2wd 360. Plenum gasket, water pump, timing set, all hoses, freeze plugs, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc. I got the Fel Pro gasket set for the intake and I couldn't find anything that said which way the gaskets were supposed to go. The repair manual says they will be marked LH or RH but they aren't. They appear identical but does it matter which side goes to what? Thanks! O and I didn't break any manifold bolts off but a few of them are a LOT thinner in the middle.

 

If it's not designated,it doesn't really matter on the intake.

 

I like to do all this to my truck to. Could you snap a few puctures so i know what iam in for. Are the gaskets embrosed?

 

Just make sure that the holes in the gaskets are lined up with the intake runners and the water passes at the front of the manifold. IIRC, they are identical, and the felpro set has the embossed lettering face up on one side, and face down on the other side.

 

That's for MOPAR gaskets. Fel Pro, it doesn't matter which side. I did strip side up.
