best way to access the AC drain tube?
the passenger side carpet is damp on my '95 RAM and from what i gather it's either one or a combination of these:
a) the seal around the drain tube has rotted so water is dripping out the drain tube and back into the cab. water is definitely draining out well so i don't think it's clogged. i poked it with a clothes hanger just to be sure.
b) water is leaking through the 3rd brake light. i just replaced the 3rd brake light with an LED bully. i put silicone all around the housing so i think that's taken care of.
c) the seal around the door is broken. i need to replace the seals on both doors - they're shot.
anyway, i went to put RTV silicone around the AC drain tube seal and i'm having a lot of trouble accessing it. i have fairly large hands and i can't seem to contort them enough to get behind the compressor and all the way around the seal.
any tips? should i remove anything first? thanks!
