Default 2001 dodge ram, Front end clunking noise

Okay this has been pissing me off since i bought the truck in mid feb.
It's a 2001 dodge ram, ext cab, 4x4

When i hit bumps in the road or my neighborhood, i hear this front end clunk, it sounds like its coming from the passenger right side towards the front. Me and my dad are both mechanically inclined but i have to say this one sure stumped us. Since hearing the problem we have replaced
-2 new front shocks
-All 4 ball joints
-Both Pass and Driver side wheel hubs
-Front wheel u-joints
-Stabilizer Links
-Tie rod ends (that needed to be replaced)

Also today i jacked it up and i started to inspect the heat shields on the exhaust, cat converter and towards the manifolds, The exhaust and cat were fine. but the heat shield that cover the pass side manifold was so rusted and when i touched it, it was hitting metal and i was 99% sure i found the problem, after removing it, i took a test drive and i still hear the damn clunk!!!!! I really need this noise gone. Any help will be much appreciated, Thanks

Have someone move the steering wheel back and forth with the engine off, while you inspect both ends. Most of the time its the balljoint end on the drivers side.

There is a balljoint on the track bar where it mounts to the frame. The track bar is what keeps the axle centered on the truck. Its a poor design and common to go bad. If it is bad replace it with a moog. Dont go cheap. I bougt a cheap one cuz i didnt have the funds at the time and within 2 months it was bad again. Put a moog on and havent had a problem in the 8 or so months its been on. Even while plowing this past winter.

+1 moog is a little more pricy, but the quality and lifetime warranty are worth it.
