Wondering
HA!!!!!!!
I got my rig up to a touch over 100mph once back when I had 3.92's, but the sounds it was making and the feedback through the steering wheel suggested it wasn't a good idea..
I don't think I've pressed it above 80 w/ 4.56's.. I'd kinda be curious about times/ or pulling a sleigh or mudding- but after all the work (at great time and expense) there is NO way I will push it..
I got a moto to feed my speed cravings.. :-) 0-60 in under four, and tops out around 160.. (or, i should say I top out around 160)...
It will always be a curiosity to me why folks worry about trying to go fast in these things.. low power, yes- top end? don't get it.. seems you can do the same thing with a pony car or a chevy for MUCH less $$, and achieve MUCH better results.. huh..

EDIT: Ditto on the making a Dakota fast, it's stil a 2 ton truck. Mine is probaly closer to 3400, or less. But if I knew then what I know now...Hello A-Body.

Even with the mods I have its still slow for the up today cars and trucks nowadays . Proper gear ratio for me it would prob do a lot better for the mods I do have its just hard for me to spend 2 k just for gearing haha . Buy 4.56 with 33 and you should take off pretty good
