I've been wondering about this myself for a while now. Not to jump in on Buck Slayer's thread. But another thing we're both probably wondering, about how much is the transgo kit?

Aww its alright, jump on in brother! So what exactly do these shift kits even do? I've just heard people talking about them...the seem like a decent "cheap" mod.

See if this video helps http://www.transgo.com/video.php.
There is not much to it if your not afraid of pulling the valve body.
Also make sure you have the factory service manual just in case.
