Don't just replace the cat without addressing the cause, https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...um-thread.html And if you can, get a Magnaflow high flow direct replacement that includes the Y pipe.

what all can cause a cat to clog I know it had the wrong spark plugs on it when I bought it. It also had a bad distributor cap and rotor button also had the exhaust cut off just past the cat before i owned it.
