Default A/c not working!

I posted the other day that I put my jumper cables on backwards and fried my truck, I know dumb move. Well everything is good to go thanks to you guys, except the a/c. The fuse for the a/c clutch keeps popping as soon as I turn the a/c on. I checked the clutch and it's putting out zero ohms. Idk if I checked the right place but I unplugged a plastic plug that was connected to a wire that went to the clutch. Is there anyway I can check if the compressor is bad or if not where can I just buy a clutch. Thank you

I believe you can get just the clutch on EBAY. But it's not real easy to replace without some special tools.
