Default Leveling kit question...

Has anyone on here ever made your own leveling spacers? All I would need is some dimensions, and I could probably make my own. I work at a machine shop, so it wouldn't be too big of a deal.

Or, would coil springs out of a 3/4 ton work? They could be cut down if they are too long.

Curious to see what kinds of responses I get.

3/4 ton springs would do a little just because of the weight needed to load the spring down. easy enough to just order and buy a spacer... time equals money you know.

i have also considered making my own spacer since i work at a metal fab shop. its possible. but is it really worth the time and hassle? idk... i have a used leveling kit for sale. PM if you want it...

u put diesel coil springs on my truck, and it lifted it about 2.5-3"
