Post Light Bar Ideas

I have been looking all over the internet for a light bar that i like for the front or back of my 99 Dodge 1500. I like the pre-runner look but i dont feel like spending 350. And i dont like bull bars. I do like the back racks but i really only want to spend about $200. Anyone have any ideas?

I would look on ebay they have some cheap stuff. My friend made a light bar out of PVC and painted it black for his explorer,it turned out pretty well for the cost of $15.

Ya I really want one of those too but they are way too expensive, I was thinking of threaded pipe but never got around to doing that.

I made one myself out of about $20 in materials and a little drilling & welding. Nothing fancy, but it does the job...

I cant do PVC because i do alot of offroading and mudding so i want something that would hold up. And there are alot of dear in nj and i want something to hold if i hit one. But the treaded pipe sounds like a good idea but they make anything like 2-3 inches thick. I have never looked into that

Well the threaded pipe would probably get destroyed by a deer, as any push guard would, in my opinion.
