Default Rust question

on my ram i got rust on both doors, passanger and drivers side, however it has eaten away about an inch of the doors up and has gone thru both sides. Is this something thats reparable? how much would it cost? Would i need a pieace of metal in place of the rust?

sorry for the dumb questions but this is my first car/truck and i wanna fix it up a little plus i really dont know much mechanical stuff (besides changing the oil) lol

Yea you can have this fixed. It cost me $150 to have my one door done. However he wasn't legit, he does bodywork on the side in his backyard. You can do it yourself by cutting out the rusty pieces and weld in new ones. http://raybuck.com/c-54812-repair-pa...ge-pickup.html Your best bet is to try to find a guy on the side or a smaller shop to do it.
