Make sure all the maintenance is up to snuff, and the plenum is fixed..... If you have a boatload of miles on it, timing chain and gears as well.

Once everything is "right"..... an SCT tuner wouldn't hurt you, 1.7 roller rockers to make your engine think the cam is a bit larger, free flowing exhaust (especially the y pipe/cat...) and a freer flowing air intake system......

Harland Sharp 1.7 Roller rockers. Can find them at summit, or Jegs.... see who is cheaper at the moment. They make the cam "seem" bigger.... so, you get a bit better power/torque, without dramatically altering the power band.

Don't forget to fix your plenum. (see the plenum thread stickied at the top of the forum.)

Cheapest place for harland sharps is www.southeastperformance.com

John Mercedes works there and he was supposedly involved with the development of them, so harland sharp cuts him a deal.

Part number is 70037 IIRC.
