it won't Hydrolock your engine. it will stall your engine because seafoam is not combustible.
If your idle is higher, you can pour it in faster. Most people do it slow because they don't have someone to move the throttle open while you pour.
Revving while doing that will really help remove the big chunks of carbon, and doing it slowly will clean the rest.
I use the whole can through the intake. But sometimes i put 1.4 can in my fitch fuel catalyst so the injectors get a straight shot of seafoam. You can buy a big in line fuel filter and temporarily hook it up filled with seafoam and get the exact same result.

I had it smoke for a LONG time when i was pouring it in slowly then i started revving it. Upon revving it after 1/2 of a can was drizzled in slowly, it was smoking down the road.
If you are not getting much white smoke, then your truck is really clean.
I would try this WHEN YOU ARE DOING YOUR NEXT OIL CHANGE:
1. Pour 1.4 bottle down the intake
2. Let it sit for about 15 mins
3. Continue as directed.
i believe that if you let it sit overnight, it will evaporate and dry out. After 15 mins of soaking, it will not be evaporated and the carbon buildup will be ready for the rest of the can (air velocity) to help clean them. I did something different one time:
I put the seafoam in an all purpose industrial spray bottle on the "STREAM" setting and just put it down the throttle body. Cleaned the throttle body too and you know that you are doing it nice and slow.
The reason i say do it at the next oil change, is that pouring it down your intake will have it go past the pistons and into your oil. Seafoam changes the composition of your oil and makes it thinner. So you would want to do it when you are doing an oil change to get that thin oil out of there.
