Default Headlight problem

So the other night I was running with my high beams on and all my lights just flickered off then right back on then off again, so I slowed down and turned to the low beams and it quit doing it( for now). Anybody got any ideas?

I noticed on my way home the high beams won't actually come on now. If you click it toward you they come on but if you let it go like you're supposed to they go right back off.

Just a thought, your turn signal switch might be going bad since you also control your high beam with that, if you cant find anything else wrong with it, and think its that, i have a brand new turn signal switch in the mopar box and ill sell it for 90 bucks, the dealer wants 130.

Both the headlight and multi-function (turn signal) switches/levers are known to be iffy on these trucks, especially if "abused" (extra things tapped into the stock wiring, which is barely adequate, if that, for stock electricity demand). In your case, I'm betting signal switch.

No offense, but $90 is still a bit high for that. $45 is what my local salvage yard charges for "A" grade units (near perfect condition) and you can get a brand new unit off of eBay for about the same. I have one off of eBay installed, did it myself about four-ish years ago, not a single problem.
