Reliable LSD

I have a true trac.
Had it for about 50,000 miles problem free. It definitely works, I have yet to do more than just a tiny corp of the tires. It's the only non clutch LSD I know of for our trucks. it will replace the entire carrier and spider gearset.
I few guys I know have had minor issues with the auburn LSD unit, but mostly those are beaten on at the track. silverdodge had one that had an issue, (non track related) might try to contact him. I dunno how often he logs on anymore.

Thanks for the reply aims4... I was going to get the true trac and heard that it will not suffice for tires larger than 33". I have 34.6" tires. I did hear the same about auburns and was hoping that someone with tires like mine can chime in and send some recommendations. btw what size tires are you running?

Small tires 255x70x16.
I have heard the same about the true trac, but I have not done the research to say positively. Perhaps the auburn would be a better bet, but I would try to get ahold of the manufacturer of detroit top get a definitive answer. Nothing like an answer from the horse's mouth to be 100%.
