Aux fan for Trany cooler?
Hey fellas, I got one of those little 10 inch electric fans to install behind my trans cooler.. But wanted to ask where you guys installed yours?>
Got the A/C condenser, then trany cooler, and a bout 2 inches between RAD to mount it,,
should I just put it behind the Radiator? or make a little room for it right against the trans cooler????
Thanks

if you are trying to cool the trans, you need it on the trans cooler. Air puller is better than pusher. If it doesn't fit, do as HeyYou suggested.

Well, wouldnt fit behind cooler. And didnt want to add another coler, So I mounted it on the front of the condenser directly in front of the trans cooler., And dang .. as a pusher.
It is moving alot of air.
ive noticed some times when its 105 out side, sitting idle for some time temp would increase some ., Maybe this will help that to a little .

if you still have the stock clutch fan, that's your puller.
The reason a puller works better is that it works with ram air as you are moving forward. A pusher trends to cause turbulence before the air enters the radiator fins. pushers are ok and you should be fine with it, but you should not run a pusher as the primary cooling fan.
You should notice your a/c cools faster with that fan on the condensor.
