Default Battery dead after sitting for about a week and a half

Possible locations for battery drain. Truck has been sitting for about a week and a half. Has brand new battery that is dead. Mind you the truck was under water for a few hours but has been sitti.g a month drying. Any suggestions?

Being under water would have a rather bad effect on the electronics...... Put a charge on the battery, and see if it holds it.

i'm just real curious... why was the truck sitting under water?

you can use a multimeter at the fuse panels (and battery) to measure current flow in amps or milliamps. this should tell you which ones are drawing power.

my first guess would be electronics. radio, security system. I'd think the IOD fuse "should" be the only one drawing power. plus maybe dome light if its on different circuit. also CTM (power something fuse, maybe#9)
