Default Engine dies when rolling in neutral

96 5.2 Ram manual tranny

The engine dies when I put the tranny in neutral while rolling. I checked my VSS connection, but not sure why it would kill the engine.

Anyone run into this before?

Clean the throttle body...... see if it helps.

It ran great when stopped, as soon as I started rolling faster than about 5mph, the rpms would drop and the engine would die.

I believe I found the problem - related to my recently non-working cruise. It seems that a low voltage wire in the cruise circuit was grounding out. So far, so good on my engine stalling.
