Pretty much only one: the Hughes FI Airgap.

Be prepared to pay for it though... $600. They have a dyno sheet right there on the product page showing HP and torque comparisons.

I liked having more low end than at 3750-4000 RPM, so when I fixed my plenum, I just cut down my runners and smoothed everything up, commonly referred to as the "kegger mod."

If he is looking for 4000+ RPM performance, sure. My apologies, I usually refrain from mentioning the M1 anymore unless the person is looking for a high RPM racing application.

4000 rpm....LOL

Not the case with a 2bbl M1, not at all. If it were, I would have kept my 2bbl. And Dave Hughes has a bad rep just like JM, and the GS Motorsports legend, Scott Quantra. Remember that *** hat?

If he want's a little more performance...he can find a used M1 2bbl for half the price of the Hughes intake.

But...I agree with you on the keeping the Keggar, and maybe modding it. To use any intake, you need more parts than just the intake alone, it's a sum of parts, and as we all know...Sum = $$$...

I could not agree with you more, I like my M1 works just fine.

Yup.

The torque curves/losses are nearly identical between the M1 and AirGap, a good tune will do a lot to bring it back and then some with other parts.

Not too many forums other this one sing the praises of Hughes's Air Gap Manifold, most think it's a scam...I mean come on, 600 bucks? It's just a worked over carb manifold.

Get a used M1 2bbl and a SCT for the same price.
