Default Could use some diagnostic HELP!

5.2 318 magnum definite blown plenum (awaiting Hughes plate)
Up until last week it has run fine.
Starts and idles perfect. Park and Neutral it revs 3-4000rpm no problem. Strong & clean exhaust out tail pipes (brand new flowmaster dual tips) shop said the cat didn't need to be replaced.

In Drive: no power, bogs down through first up to 30mph. Just before 2nd with heavy foot on the accelerator, sputters and backfires, no stall, but no power.
Feels like it's pulling a massive load up a steep hill.

Could this be just from the plenum or is there another direction I should be looking?

This truck is about to get a plenum fix, timing chain, injectors, plugs, wires,rotor/cap,ignition, TPS, PCV, IAT, temp sensor,180 thermostat, hoses, check valve delete, battery, alternator, coolant flush, oil&filter.

Should this fix the problem?
AND
Aside from headers, cam and 1.7RR. Are there any other possible areas i should address while I'm into this?

Any and all input is welcome, thanks.

O2 sensor as well. (pre-cat.)
Maybe address the Y-pipe. Not sure if the later models are as bad as the earlier on restriction where the pipes come together.
Make sure whatever cam you choose takes into account the higher ratio rockers. Or, do one or the other, not both.

You will also want to check fuel pressure.

sounds like ignition, check plugs first, then wires. cap may be arching as well. just went through this w/father-in-laws truck. same symptoms saw new plugs and wires and assumed them good. fancy BOSCH wires and plugs. after replacing coil, crank sensor, hollow cat (that was getting supper hot, probably due to unburnt fuel) fuel pressure regulator, battery service, put recommended plugs and wires back on and now it's perfect. would idle fine but under a load it would do just as you say.
