Try just cleaning the Gov solenoid.

i did, and it didnt work still settin off the code and still not shiftin to o/d, and it doesnt want to downshift to 1st when im stoped, unless i manually down shift it

You need to have it put on a capable scanner, by a reputable shop then. It's pretty much the best way.

sorry for the thread hight jack,
i would if i could zman but money is really tight right now and the only reputable shop around here is patc and there more interested in sellin me a viper or rebuilding mine with viper parts the helpin me fix this. plus they're pretty pricey. so a trnny shop is my last resort.

Then go to a regular tranny shop and ask if they can diagnose with a scanner. Most of the time they will do it for free.

I changed my gov pressure solenoid and I still don't have o/d or 4th gear??? Any other ideas anybody I'm lost....
