dude those sexy as hell in there. i love it!!!!! you should definantly put up some pics or specs of the pieces to make the mounts. they look good. i love how the seats also have that side skirt so you cant see the mount. so who cares if its ugly you cant see it anyway. Ill be starting my swap real soon. at least when i get dads dodge front end redone and road worthy again. well more like safe.

keep us posted.

Glad you like the seat. the brackets are kinda ugly at the moment lol bt im planning on cleaning the welds a bit more and painting them so they'll look pretty fresh. ill be updating this thread pretty soon also so everyone can see the progress.
(P.S) im also just finishing my the front end on my truck lol just put a grill on it for the first time in 5 months

I hope like hell you used Grade 5 or higher bolts on that angle iron setup. You have to remember that sheering force comes into play in a collision. It would suck giant donkey ***** to be involved in a collision and the seats break away.

thanks for the concern. ill be honest 1 of my bolts isn't grade 5 or up. thats the long silver one thats visible in the pics. bt there's 3 other bolts holding the seat together an those are all grade 8. now its still a concept design. so yes im planning on changing that 1 bolt that isnt up to standards for 1 that is.

BTW... any ideas or improvements as far structural or aesthetically that any fellow member would like to share with me would be pretty cool.

I take it the seatbelts do NOT mount to the seats themselves?
