I've never had a problem removing injectors i planned on reusing..

if those rascals have never been moved, they can be pretty lodged in there. this is the reason twisting them this way and that is important before yanking them out of there..

Thanks guys. As far as I know these have never been out in the 140k miles the truck has on it so it may be a problem. I'm going to try to either tackle it tomorrow afternoon or on Sunday and see what's going on.

What do you recommend I lube the o rings and bungs with? I saw you said oil, so just motor oil, or what kind of oil?

Thanks again guys.

Whatever oil you have on hand. Motor oil is just fine, whatever you put in your engine probably.

getting mine out was easy after 200k, i just loosed both brackets on each side cause the rails are connected together in the back and lift off starting at the back working my way to the front. no problem. changing O-rings, no problem, where i had the problem was getting my fuel injectors to sit right, and my issue was the drivers side back near the brake master cylinder the fuel rail support must be bolted right onto the manifold. there is a stud with a nut that needs to be taken out and the rail harness put on then the stud with nut put on then the vacuum thing ontop of that and another nut. I forgot about that and put the fuel injector rail and vacuum thing ontop of the stud with nut then put another nut on and it was throwing codes. Oh and coating the O-ring and bung hole make it 2x easier to put the injectors in.
