Default Line-X or Rhino?

Hey all, new guy here. I just bought my truck and was wondering which spray on bedliner is best? Is the Line-X available in different colors like Rhino? Thanks

Yeah I think I'll be going with the colormatch Rhino, as Line-X only seems to be available in black.

The line-x place says they can color match. I have had rhino and I had problems with it peeling when you slide something across it. The line-x is harder doesnt seem like it will do that. I am going with line-x on the new truck.

Thanks, I'll look into that. Their website doesn't mention color matching, but I looked at a truck with Line-X and it seemed to be a very hard and tough lining.

I know people with both, and the only difference I have ever really noticed is in the texture. Line-x seems to be a little smoother while the Rhino is very rough and course. Not sure if this is how they all are, or just how the ones I saw were sprayed. I think if you go with one of these two, you will be good, they are about the best on the market.

I got the line-x done in oklahoma city... I cant rave enough about it and yes it was smoother but still grainy enough to work. I skinned my knee a few times on it. Heres a clue. Your job depends on the skill of the workers they hire. I saw some crap jobs working on a military base of 5000 plus people. I was always stopping and looking under the bed lip of the trucks in the parking lot to see what company did it. I saw more awesome jobs from the Oklahoma city Line-x it made me goto them. And it looked great when it was done. Also dont look at the display model too closely in the showroom. Of course thats going to be 100% perfect. If you go at lunch time to the shop you should see 3-4 of them already sprayed in sitting in the parking lot drying. When I went to enquire about the cost the 1st thing i did was examine the ones they just did. Each one was perfect and sprayed in flawlessly. I did see the owners of the truck pay for different options. I never liked just the bed liner in the inside of the truck. I always liked it when it overlaps the bed rails. That way if something your carrying falls out of the bed you dont see a big chunk of paint missing. I saw it both ways and the overlap looks the best to me. I also saw some guys get the bottom edge of the truck sprayed - where the wheels would throw the mud. I guess the bottom 2-3 inches. That looked really good too but if you go to far up it looks gay. Anyhow thats about all I can tell you. Oh yes with line-x it stands up to a good amount of abuse but if you take a shovel and throw it at the pickup bed it will cut though the liner and hit the metal. Then you can get it touched up if you care but I found this out the hard way. Wood - plastic - unsharp metal all this cannot damage the liner. Mine was dark black for a year and then it faded slightly. Still looked damn good.

Post up some pictures when you get yours done.

Goodluck

Yeah, my local Line-X doesn't do colored liners and they don't suggest spraying the lower part of the truck. His price quote was $610 for an over the rail liner on my longbox.

Sounds high but my truck was a ranger and im sure that used less material and less time.
