My buddy has a 1999, 3500, V10. His RPM's drop drastically when his fuel reaches 1/2 tank? The truck does not stall but power drops and he has has no power. If he runs it between full and 1/2 tank he is good to go! Dealer wants 96$ for a diaog check! He gets three blink when he checks himself. Anyone have any ideas?

fuel pump is probably going bad... I've heard of this exact same symptom in the past and when the guys yanked the pump and swapped it, the problem was gone.
