ok im back with other problem i replaced ckp sensor it started up drove like a charm then it started to loss power jerking back and forth i put a scan on it it showing po1391 intemittent loss ethier camshaft or crank shaft sensor please help point in right way thanks for looking or reading
make sure both cam, and crank sensors are plugged in good and tight, and the connectors are clean. If it still exhibits the same behavior, might try getting the sensor from the dealer... yeah, they are more expensive, but, they actually WORK too...
Did you ever fix this problem? Because I connected another PCM and the problem went away. So my Mechanic is getting me another Reman PCM. After I spent $1100 on a new Cat ( that became clogged after I continued to drive it in that condition,) CKP sensor, Cam sensor, new Distributor, Plugs, wires and Cap. By the way anyone want to buy a NEW 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4. with all the new parts it should be new. Just an FYI, This is the 3rd PCM, each one has its own problems.
