I have a 96 ram 1500 4x4 with 5.9 V8 sometimes when i start the truck the battery acts kinda low but it isnt and will shut off as soon as it starts then i have to hold my foot on the throttle and use both feet to drive once on the road it stops I have replaced the throttle position sensor and idle air controller also the fuel pump and sending unit i have no idea what is going on no codes show up any one have a clue what this could be

while your throwing parts at it have you tried that mass air flow sensor (MAF), those are known to go bad and from what you say that sounds to be the culprit. but only way to realy find out, get yourself a Digital volt meter and back prob your MAF and see if you get up and down reading when you give some throttle. not sure what the spec is for it. so maybe ask the parts guys to look up the spec for ya. Hope that helps

I had called the dodge dealer today they tell me there is no maf on my truck so now i am goin to have figure things out
