Default Another plenum success story!

Just finished up with the guys across the street doing the plenum, timing, and other fun tune-up stuff.

had our hiccups here and there and the last thing to trip us up with the throttle cable wasn't in the little grove thingy and it felt like the gas pedal was already to the floor. quick fix and then done. it did take a while to get everything flowing enough to keep it idling good.

since we 3 are in now way certified mechanics, it took us about 13 hours over 5 days and that with cleaning and what not. took 5 days due to dark creeping up on us after work.

they didn't kill me for labor too bad. $480 is a heck of a lot better then a shop doing it.

i highly recommend doing this if you have the symptoms in the sticky plenum thread

Yeah I agree with him. I did it all here with a buncha pics. Me and one buddy took us a three day weekend, 2 boxes of gloves, and a ton of work in the dark with lights setup. Definately worth every minute and drop of blood:

You paid someone who isn't a mechanic $480 to HELP you do your plenum?

I got it from a guy on ebay called Worldsuspension. He has everything you could need at absolutely rock bottom prices. Everything new good quality, and he missed an item I contacted him and he sent it Next day air. I did paint it all up and make it look good though didnt come like that :P
