I know this is an old thread but I ran into the same problem and need to know what Carlson kit to get... I have a 96 1500 4x4 5.9 thanks

H7055. Either Carlson or Raybestos, both have same p/n and contain that oval spring. And this is found under '95 2500 parts.
Also just noticed, Carlson H2323 has also adjusters and other parking brake levers.
