Default removed the cat, now I have some issues need help, please

removed cat, used to non foulers, drilled both out. I had to get really rough with O2 sensor to get it out. I beleive its the original one. So take it down the road about 10 miles, CEL comes on. Hook my SCT up and its showing P0037 HO2S Heater Ctrl Circ Low Bank1 Sens2,
P0138 1/2 O2S Shorted To Voltage
P0141 1/2 02 Sens Relay
Did i ruin the o2 by getting to rough with it?
Should I have not drilled both foulers out?
Any thought or help is greatly appreciated. On the bright side it made a diffrence in the way my truck runs, seems to have better response. Thanks, steve

Get a new sensor. Doesn't matter what brand really.

Also , you didn't have to drill them both out. Probably should get 2 more and don't drill the 2nd one out this time.

Thanks Z. I was kinda along that thought myself. I just put some steel wool in the fouler to block some air and it made the truck run like a dog. Thanks again.

OK well, it shouldn't matter what you do with that one. It has nothing to do with how the engine runs.

I would think drilling both non-foulers out would defeat the purpose of the mod. And yea, get a new sensor, and check the wiring for damage.

now I am getting a p1762 code. All this started from removing the cat. HUH? Its got be connected somehow. Just checked the wires they look good, not pinched anywhere. put the non drilled fouler in place. Still the same o2 sensor. Do i need do anything to the pre cat sensor, maybe. The only parts place around here doesnt have a o2 for after the cat. Thanks guys.
