Default Auto to manual swap?
Hi, is it possible to swap a 5spd manual tranny into a 97 5.2L ram? or is it just not worth the trouble... any advibe appreciated! Thank you.

It's been done on here by a few people, your best bet is to get a donor truck.

definitely possible. i did it my 94. and it has made my driving experience a whole lot more fun

there are all parts necessary (or close to it) in the for sale section right now. not sure if they have sold or not but there are pics. of what is needed.

Okay thank you, i wasnt sure if it could be done or not because someone told me it wouldnt work with the computer of the truck or somthing like that.

The computer would have to be flashed for manual tranny, or you'll have the CEL on all the time.
