Default Governor solenoid access without valve body removal?

Hey guys. I was looking in the DIY sectoin and found the gov solenoid thread- pics are missing. In other threads' pics (sure cure thread) ive noticed what looks like the gov solenoid on the bottom of the valve body.

Im wondering, can the solenoid be removed without messing with the valve body? Same for the sensor?

Thanks Boys.

You don't need to remove the VB.

Ok, what about the pressure sensor? Do they usually go bad?

yeah, the stock ones suck. Since you are going to be RIGHT there, replace them both.

The sensor is either held on by the same bracket as the solenoid or you might have to remove the Gov body to undo the clip on inside. Thereis 2 different styles, I forget which is which. Depending on year.
