Default Plenum fix price!?!?!

does anyone know on average how much a garage would charge to change a plenum gasket??? cause im burnin thru oil like a mother

Not being a jerk here, just trying to help: next time, please do a search (or at least a cursory scan of the first page of threads). This is already being discussed in two or three (or more) other threads, all on the 1st or 2nd pages.

Labor is about $400-$500.

Don't just change the gasket. Do it right the first time, buy an aluminum plenum plate from Hughes (or make your own if you have the know-how/tools or know someone who does). Hughes plate will come with a new set of bolts, you'll need those to. Do not reuse the factory bolts. And don't use a factory gasket, use a Felpro gasket. Much better. You can usually find them at most auto parts stores like O'Reillys, Advance Auto, etc.

Cost in materials is under $200, usually closer to $150.
