Question body lift problem

hey, was in the middle of doing a body lift on a 01 dodge ram with an auto tranny, but it said to extend the automatic tranny rod. but doesnt give very much discription on where it is.. idk which one it would be either coming from the firewall and goin down, or where the pivot point is where it meets by the frame. any help is much appreciated. thanks

Between the trans, and where it hits the next pivot.

find the shifter linkage on the drivers side of the trans.
follow it forward to the firewall.
find the pivot to an up/down rod that goes up to the steering column, see that the up/down rod attaches to the column pivot.

no personal experience, but you probably need to lengthen whichever rod does NOT lift with the body.

if the pivot is attached to the body (and lifts), lengthen the trans rod.
if the pivot is attached to the frame (and doesn't lift), lengthen the up/down column rod.
