I'd try the same thing with the low switch too.

High should be on compressor and the low is on top of the evap canister
near the PCM.

The green plug in the pic is the low pressure switch, the black one above the compressor in the high pressure line, is the high.

i agree, the high pressure switch is shuting it down, something is causing the system to get hotter then what the normal operating temp is. Try what HeyYou mentioned. use a cotter pin or jumper wire, unplug the high pressure switch and touch the terminals, if the ac compressor comes back you have something causeing the system to get hot. either a blockage somewhere ( oriface tube ) or the condenser is plugged, also the evap might be plugged as well, the bad part about that is it's beside the heater core which is about an 8-10 hr job to change,.. or 4 if you know what peice of plastic to break hehe..shhh.

just try to jump the switch and see where your at

i had a problem with my ac compressor cutting out also... ended up being the wire harness from the compressor was bad check and see if you move that around if it quits or starts back up... i went to the junk yard and cut one off a truck and put it on mine and no problems since
