Default So it started finally!

The ground straps from the firewall to the back of the heads were the culprit for the starter and now I am getting P0340 No Cam Reference Signal at PCM
it is a fairly new cam sensor and is plugged in also my trans cooler quick disconnect fitting is spitting out trans fluid any ideas on what to do ?

So you didn't have the grounds connected at all?

the grounds were damaged and I forgot to install them... on the trans connection I haven't really dealt with those quick disconnect fittings my coworker told me to just cut the line use some hose clamps and call it a day

I really wish I could figure out about that cam sensor

I wish I knew that in other thread. Which btw, you shouldn't have started a new. And if you do cut and splice the tranny line, use 2 clamps on each end.

Not according to thread title.

I hope you at least go to the other thread and post the solution to the no start issue. The idea of posting threads in the tech section, is not only to get answers yourself, but for people doing a search for the same issue. Starting a new thread doesn't help them. A new thread for the tranny line would be fine. For example, if someone is searching for a tranny line issue, they are not going to look in a thread titled "so it started finally" . My bet is, the thread will get merged anyway. But who am I , not the boss of this place for sure. Just sayin' that's all.
