Default SCT From Hemifever

well i finally bought it and installed it, and after a week of driving it, i must say i do love it. Hills that used to make the engine bog down a little bit, i dont even notice the hill now. its made the throttle response a little better, but mostly just notice the ease the truck has now, when gettin up to speed or wanting to pass someone. very pleased.

now what should i do to the ole' girl?

If you did tune up ,plenum and 180 stat then I would say highflow cat and airgap were the other best mods I've done

The SCT is pretty amazing. Tried it out on 87 tune the other day, and while thats better than stock (with presumably better MPGs), I hated it. I am way to used to the 93 tune.

AAHHHHHH, the infamous 180* stat...that's only to cure pinging. Common misconception that it's a "mod" or will gain you any HP. +1 on the air gap. It's awesome...if your willing to drop $500 + on it.

$600+. You need plenty of lube to click the submit button on the shopping cart for that one.

LOL, aint that the truth. All it does is eliminate plenum, from what I see on here(DF) mpg's are not even better.
