Default Oil pressure gauge keeps reading zero...

I have a 2000 Ram with 129,000 miles. It's in pretty goods shape. Lately I've been having the oil pressure gage read 0 when I stop sometimes. If it tap the gas or move it goes back up to normal. I've had the oil pressure sensor replaced a couple times now and it keeps happening. Is there anything I can do?

There isn't a problem. Common sense should tell you that at a low engine speed, low pressure will occur, and high engine speed, high pressure will occur. It's normal for every vehicle to do this that doesnt have electric pumping.

First things first...I would put an aftermarket gauge on it to verify that it is indeed running low oil pressure...if it turns out it is, you will need to drop the pan and replace the oil pump...if it isnt, then you have another bad oil pressure sending unit.
