Might go on, but wouldn't look right. Shape is different, curves.

I still don't understand why the chrome bumpers are STILL so much $$$ for our gen2's...and good luck finding a straight, undented one at a pick and pull...lol

One other question would be my tire blew on the back damaging the bed and it needs replacement. Would a 2006 bed go with a 96 cab or would it look bad. would the body lines match up

Check your local craigslist for a gen2 bed...I know there are always some for sell down here and usually they're really cheap.

My front bumper is dented in the middle and of course the sides dented downward. Anyways I've seen new chrome bumpers for the front on ebay for around $134. Which to me isn't a bad price for a new bumper. I would think the rear's would be around the same or close anyways.

Been checking out craigslist but not had any luck on 8 ft beds and if one was to come up it is damaged in some way.
As for the bumper I might have to end up paying that or pay a liitle more and get a used ranch hand for around 250

Front bumpers are NOT expensive...you can sometimes catch a seller selling for around $170-$200 plus shipping, which runs about $50, but most the chromes ones are $250 or more.
