Default Truck parked for a while, now has issues?

My truck has been parked for about 7 months. (Couldn't deal with the crapppy gas mileage anymore) Anyway - it hasn't been run at all in a couple months. The other day went to start it - battery dead. No biggie - charged it up and started truck. It wouldn't idle at all for a while - but then finally got to where it would. So I let it run for a while and then shut it off. So now today my batt went in my dd - so I fired the truck up to go get new one. Ran ok most of the way there - then it started idling really bad - like it would stumble really hard then pick back up. Got home to turn in the driveway and it shut clean off. Started right back up. Noticed cel was on so I ran the code with my Hypertech and got P1391. Never had this before? Anybody know what the heck this is and how do I fix it???

From what I've found that code stands for intermittent loss of camshaft or crankshaft position sensor signal.

Might need to checkout the camshaft position sensor.

Where is that thing at? Think I can just take it off and clean it or something?

It's under the distributor cap. There is a picture on the following website:

I'm not too familiar with the sensor but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to clean it with some electrical contact cleaner.

Did the truck sit in that nice driveway for 7 months or in the backyard on the lawn with weeds growing around it?

OMG..... I am screwed. I changed the cap and rotor a couple times and could not even see in there find the dist - had to do all by feel. Guess it will be parked for life...

Just pull the manifold.
OR, you could do what I do.
Use technology!
Take a camera with a flash and take a picture of the disty after you take the cap off.
Work from there.
