its not the fact that i bought junk parts. they all came from summit racing, and they sell very quality parts. the first muffler the inlet tube fell out of the muffler case. second muffler(flowmaster super 10 stainless steel) case cracked at the welds. so now im getting rid of the dual exhaust and going back to the stock system with the glass pack i had on it, until i can get either a dynomax race bullet, or the like.

Good to know about the sound. I still have my stock system, and considered going duals whenever it needed replacement, but now I guess I wont. I like the sound of mine just fine so I certainly don't want to quiet down my truck any. Hope you find a good setup.

Cool deal! Getting a 2012 or older? I have an 09 Mustang and I love it. Real fun car to drive.

To answer the OP's original question. The name of the knock off flowmasters are called KO. They are made by flowmaster as well. My local exhaust shop sells them instead of Flowmasters because they are made by the same company, but half the price because they arent clean looking.

Should the 10 series be under warranty after only 5 months?
