Tires sitting in storage for a year ok to run?

that is exactly what i was thinking. when i rotate tires they go from front to back and back to front. if i was to change tires on someone else's vehicle i would always mark which corner they came off of on the sidewall of the tire so that they can be put back on there or rotated properly.

tire rack seems to agree with the tire makers. unless you have directional tires, crossing is the way to go.

I've been cross rotating tires for longer than I can remember, and never had a problem.

Last time i cross rotated, i had a belt blow goin down the highway. Although they were old tires. I've never crossed since.
