Had some extra cash, and didnt feel like getting up at 4am to go hunting(archery) today. Heading to the part store to get the following :P

Water pump
timing chain/gear
seal/gasket kit for timing chain
small heater by pass hose
new serp belt
power steering box rebuild kit
fluids

did heater core the other day.. after all this truck should be good. plenum will wait till october lol.

well i ended up with more extra parts lol. Oil pump and gasket and new battery cables :P 130 bucks turned in to 250... i will try and take pics, and i'll use this to ask question half way though as im sure i will have some..

awesome thanks! i bought a Gates, and gates by pass hose. Felpro gaskets Lifetime warranty everything else..

I like Gates myself, but all too often there are stories on here about squealing with the Gates. I suggest you get a Dayco or Goodyear Gatorback instead.

my last one was a gates so i figured i'll be fine.. hope so=S Got everything apart and im cleaning everything. Timing chain had about 1in or more of slack!!! Think I will notice any power gain with replacing it?

i hope so she is sorta a dog... Btw.. i dont ever wanna do this job again lol.. But with this job and the heater core my truck should be good for awhile I will try and do a write up on the power steering box rebuild kit for yal;l.
