Default My Bed is messed up

So the oter day I noticed the front of my truck bed is curved really bad toward the back window. It's either touching body below the back window, or or nearly touching it.

This has happened from hauling stuff around the past ten years, The trucks been a real workhorse.

Anyone know how I can fix this?

Also: could someone fill me in on posting pictures

the front of my bed collapsed one time when a full keg of beer came loose and slammed into the front. it made a lot of noise.

i'd try hooking a come-along to it and gently, i said gently, coax it towards the rear.

or, you could wrap a chain around a tree and holler - hey y'all watch this and jerk the hell out of it.

for pictures, register an account at photobucket or similar. its free. upload the pictures there and arrange them in albums. at photob, copy the IMG code of the picture and paste it directly into your post.

I have the same problem, but it is only pushed forward about 1" with only 1/2" clearance.

I am also curious about the best way to correct this. When I get rebuilt transmission installed, I plan on painting the truck. I will remove the bed to have access to back of cab.

If you can weld, you can straighten the bulkhead back up, then weld some braces in to keep it from misforming again...

Would you heat in the center before pulling? I have heated sheet metal to take streched metal back to original.

no. no heat.

put a little tension on it in the center and just try working from the edges inward, pulling with your hands. work it slow.
