Default replaced steering box still have play

Well like the title says, I replaced my steering box, and it seems I still have play in it. Not as much as before, but it's still there. I checked the symptoms of the rock solid steering fix and the shaft didn't seem to move at all side to side. Any ideas what to do now?

Did you replace the steering stabilizer/damper? I just did that today and it made a huge difference in the play I had before.I also noticed that most of my bushings were completely shot. I intend on replacing most of my suspension components anyways so they'll get replaced with polyurethane when that happens. If not I would replace them with the energy suspension polyurethane units to tighten up the steering.

I can't return it. Long story. And The steering stabilizer was replaced about 4-5 months ago, with a rough country one, with my lift. Also, this might fall into the same question. I don't know what causes it, but where you lift the truck with just coil spacers, nothing else in the front, what cause the wheels to kick out toward the drivers side?

The drag link is fixed length. Lifting the front of the truck moves the axle further away, the drag link isn't any longer, so the wheels turn. Should be able to fix it up with an alignment, make sure to mention to them to recenter the wheel. (and... after lifting it, you should get an alignment anyway....)

I am planning on getting an alignment. I go to a tech high school and am going to have automotive do it, when I can start driving to school.
