Well, I had to run out to the store (50 mile round trip). I put the new O2 sensor in, and although the misfire isn't as bad, it is still there. Proably 10-15 times over the course of 10 seconds. Really bucks the truck. And only does it while cruising.

The bend starts at the back of the CAT and is a constant little arc until it gets to the straight pipe about 10" back from the CAT. I am guessing that I could still get a breaker bar into the cat, but wouldn't be able to move it around to much or get the bottom of the cat.

I stopped and ran the computer tester to see if there were any codes showing up (nothing lit up on my dash), and it tells me that there is a #7 mis-fire. This may be an issue with the spark plug wire. I had issues with that wire when I did the plenum plate. Gonna let everything cool and see if that fixes the mis-fire issue.

But as far as getting custom pipe bent and yada yada yada.....I will pay for the $144 JEGS Y-pipe before going through the hassles of trying to jerry-rig the current CAT.

Just expressing my frustration with the designers for putting that little bend in there. If it was straight out the back of the CAT, this would have all been done by 9am this morning.
