Default Ac only on high

I have searched the fourm and not seem to come up with a solution. I pulled my dash to install a replacement dash and most of all the plug ins went in fine. Everything seems to be working fine except the Blower motor. It has only one setting. It blows only in high which it did not do before I pulled the dash. I have looked at all the wiring to see if I missed anything and all looks good. What runs the settings us ut built in the fan? and there is only one wiring harness for the fan? please help.
Also this was a question I asked before How would I make a OEM tac work if the truck did not come with a tac pigtail. While I was installing the dash I got a gauge cluster that had a tac in it. but I could not find the pig tail that plugs into the tac.

Isn't the tach just a modular plug? Should already be there, most folks that have done that particular mod found it to be just plug and play.

Blower speed is regulated the a resistor block that is also in the heater box. Power wire come from the fan, goes to the resistor block, and then the switch grounds what appropriate terminal. Did you swap the heater boxes as well? If so, the resistor block in the new dash is toast. If you still have your old dash, should be able to just swap the block out, and be done with it.

heater box?? where is it located and what does it look like. I looked at my old dash and did not see any boxes only wires. There is one white plug by the blower fan that has 4 prongs in it that is not plugged in but I do not see a spot where it plugs into.
As for the tac the gauges that I have has 3 places that pig tails plug into 2 long ones that I have and one small one that is on the tac that I do not have and have looked all over the back of the dash

The huge black plastic housing on the passenger side? Is the HVAC box.

And here is the resistor. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...motor+resistor

Thanks I will have to look and see if I can see it with the dash on. I am thinking that the pig tail that I could not figure out where it went goes to the resister because It looks like that would fit the pins on the resistor.
