I know this is an old thread but I can't find anyone talking about this particular male fitting. I got a murray radiator from oreilly's and the quick disconnect installed no problem but it gushes fluid from under the big nut (screwed to the radiator). I took the nut off to see what was going on and the flare was totally chewed up and destroyed. Can't find the replacement male quick disconnect part anywhere. Anybody figure out where to find it?

I'd take the radiator back and tell them it's defective. Some of that stuff is machined bad from the factory. Seen it before

I sprayed a little wd40 or silicone on the connector and just made sure it was lined up very straight and it went in good... that's what she said too!!!! Lol

Oh yea... regarding the bad flare... if it's a new part... and you have the receipt... just bring it back yo... it's a bitch having to take it out again... bring it back... argue with them... and then reinstall it again... but definitely beats overheating and being stranded...

The problem I ran into was if one end is bad, so is the end of what its going into. I could be wrong as to how that setup is.

that's what she said
